More about LISA
If there’s a job out there, Lisa Lewis has done it. She’s the CEO of Lisa Lewis Careers, a company helping underfulfilled overachievers find a career that's lucrative, soulful, and joyful. In addition, Lisa is a full-time career coach for 2U, an education technology startup in Maryland. In her role with 2U, she specializes in helping career switchers re-cast the narrative around their professional experience to make their own Pivot.
She's experienced in managing career transition herself: prior to coaching, she was a marketing executive, working in digital demand generation at 2U and as a client account supervisor at Edelman, the world’s largest PR and communications firm. In her tenure at Edelman, she revived and ran the mid-level employee happiness and retention initiative and served as a regional driver for the company-wide women’s empowerment program. It was in this role that she discovered her skill and passion for coaching. Lisa has worked and interned in many different sectors through her roles at Attention USA, American Cancer Society, Teen Vogue, Seventeen, Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship and CBS College Sports.
Best Breakthroughs: The clients I have the biggest breakthroughs with are multi-passionate overachievers who landed their first few jobs with ease, but are currently stuck trying to decide their next direction.
Certifications and trainings: PIVOT Method trained coach; World Coach Institute Certified Professional Coach and Certified Career Coach trained coach. MBTI, StrengthsFinder, Situational Leadership II, Nonviolent Communication, Elevating Feedback, and Crisis Text Line trainings.
